Frankenstein’s Oil Can

In 1994 the Taliban sprang forth from religious schools known as madrassas in NW Pakistan.  The schools were run by Jamiat-Ulema-i-Islami, an Islamic fundamentalist group with close ties to Pakistani ISI and funded by the Saudi government. Continue reading
